Books about Love, Love, Love

Whilst I’m not really a fan of Valentines Day and all that jazz, I do love books about love.   There is nothing better than settling into bed with a small, freshly washed child and reading a book about love then demanding kisses (one of my children hands kisses freely…the other? Not so much. Each kiss has to be worked for).

Childrens Books about Love

Books about love abound – but not all are created equal. My favourites are below – more about each one in my Kidspot article here...but basically? I LOVE each and every one of the books below.

May your Valentines Day be full of roses if this is what you so desire…I’m just as happy with a rose and vanilla bean cupcake with cream cheese icing and additional roses. Here’s a virtual one for you – my icing swirls need practice but they taste good! Don’t forget that Valentines’ Day is also Library Lovers Day and International Book Giving Day, which you can read more about here.

  1. I will get kisses Valentines day, but I am guessing I will be stealing them. Justin is working (of course he is, what photographer isn’t). Plus I am babysitting my grandson. So will be looking after a 3 year old and a four month old. So sweaty little boy kisses.

ps on a side note Jarvis told me when I got home from work today “I like libry, lots of girls”. Umm I think my son is using the library to pick up as well as borrow books.
