Colouring Books for Children and Adults Alike
To purchase books click on cover images or title links.
Children have long enjoyed colouring books and they are certainly enjoying a huge resurgence lately, with many book-bestseller-lists containing colouring book titles for both adults and children. Colouring books were somewhat frowned upon not so long ago, accused of inhibiting the creativity of young children – all those lines and boxes and spaces – ‘give them blank paper to create and let their own imagination run free!’ was the call. Nowadays however, no coffee-shop going parent would be seen dead without an on-trend colouring book for their small children. Once the children tire of colouring mandalas, swirls and trees, it is often the parents left colouring – in a somewhat blissed out or meditative state, completely oblivious to babycino chaos. Or you could just buy your own colouring book – ones with Snoop Dog?!
Some of my favourite colouring books for children and adults are pictured below – click on the cover images to purchase – and see some inside images. I have a few colouring books on the go for the kidlets and the husband, along with some Doodle books (see here), and several more will be added to Christmas stockings this year. In fact all the children and adults in our family will be receiving colouring books and pencils in their Christmas stockings – expect to find us in January mediating whilst colouring!Booktopia.
