School Pencilcase Loot

Identity DirectTell me I am not the only person who gifts their children items for Christmas which *technically* are also part of the ‘back-to-school’ shop! Every year I get personalised labels, water bottles, bag tags, new towels for swimming if they’ve lost them (again) and pencil case loot.

This can TOTALLY be a gift!
Come on! Look at this cuteness! This can TOTALLY be a gift!

Both my children love nothing better than new lead pencils and colours – they take after me. There is something extremely calming about sharpened pencils sitting on a desk. A little OCD perhaps, but I like to at least start the year with a semblance of order. Also…librarians rather like to stick labels on things; I do love a good label or 300.dsc02902 Identity Direct Pens

My ‘back-to-school’ posts are always popular ones and you can read past ones (including the best books to read to prepare for first day at school) by clicking on the ‘starting school’ category. The personalised stationery below is from Identity Direct and I ordered a set for each child with their full name on it from these value sets. They have just arrived today and I’m hoping they will be extremely stoked, and *hopefully* fights over stolen pencils will be lessened due to the naming!

January will be here in a flash, and the one year I didn’t order personalised stationery in time I spent night after night making items with a Sharpie pen and swore I’d never do it again – order them pre-January hell and thank me later.
