Five on Friday: Five Fav Reads of the Week

Home » Five on Friday: Five Fav Reads of the Week

This will be my last ‘Five on Friday’ for two weeks as the girls and I are off to Bali – this is the REPLAY of last years botched attempt to avoid our first Christmas without Dan by escaping to Bali (volcano stopped that!). I’ve got NOTHING packed yet but I DO have a mountain of books to take. Books. That is the only thing I’ve thought through as yet. ARGH!

To purchase any of these titles or read more about them – click on title links!

‘Time for Bed, Miyuki’ by Roxane Marie Galliez and Seng Soun Ratanavanh

‘There’s a Bug on my Arm That Won’t Let Go’ by David Mackintosh (full review and teachers’ notes here)

‘The Sisters St Claire’ and ‘The Sisters St Claire and the Royal Mouse Ball’ by Carlie Gibson and Tamsin Ainslie

‘David Astle’s Gargantuan Book of Words’ and ‘Rewording the Brain’ by David Astle

‘Catching Teller Crow’ by Ambelin Kwaymullina and Ezekiel Kwaymullina (this one features in the 33 YA Books you MUST HAVE list)

You can watch a replay of my Facebook Live video talking about these books on my Children’s Books Daily Facebook page.
