Christmas Story Stones

With Christmas just around the corner, there is much Christmas craft happening both at home and at school! This week it’s been Christmas story stones all round and the ones below are by our talented Year Four students and their teacher.

My original story stone post here is one of the most popular on the blog and has some ideas for how to use them, how to make them and the importance of storytelling and free play.

With holidays in 1.5 days (not counting I swear), hours can be passed creating story stones. For older children they can be excellent story starters and I’ve seen some great ideas on Pinterest about using them in themed sets with lower – middle primary students.

All you need is some stones, some paint, small images or stickers and that fab stuff…Mod Podge. Love that stuff.
