Top 15 Library Loans in 2019
Each year I look forward to the borrowing stats and borrower stats at the conclusion of the school year. Possibly this is a librarian thing, but I find it fascinating and of course we incorporate all this ‘data’ and more into our Annual Report. The 2019 list doesn’t really have any surprises on it, these are all books that come over the library circulation desk regularly and have multiple reservations on them.
Raina Telgemeier continues to dominate, as she did last year and you can read more about her in this post here. I am overjoyed that most of the books on this list are Australian titles, and of course, they are ones that I personally love and ‘handsell’ to the readers at school – it’s what we as teacher librarians do – match books to readers and promote quality literature.
